ENDINGS
An evening of Bay Area performance and interdisciplinary collaboration, ENDINGS, emerges as a contemplation of change, loss, and possibility. A show-and-tell of works in progress and new premiers, we nod to our mentors, look towards new moves, and embrace being in the midst of something yet unformed. Co-curated by Chloe Nagle Cetinkaya & Kym McDaniel we propose the prompt, “What is the quickest way to end something?” An open mic/social hour with snacks will follow the show as a creative ice-breaker and casual invitation to share. Bring your friends! It will be fun.
Choreography and Performances by: Kym McDaniel & Chloe Nagle Cetinkaya, Kyle Filley, Sophia Grimani, Raina Sacksteder, Piper Thomasson & Michael Turgeon, and Jesselito Bie/STEAMROLLER Dance Company

Visceral States
A triple bill of works by Bay Area choreographers, Joe Landini and Alma Esperanza Cunningham with Mannakin’s own Traci Cottam.

Using nostalgic music, familiar images, memory, and her own experience of growing up female and bicultural, Esperanza Cunningham weaves a kind of dream that speaks to the past and present.
